Year 7 2020 Newman Selective Class Application

This year the College will continue to be part of a pilot project initiated by Sydney Catholic Schools to explore the expansion of the Newman Selective Gifted Education Program. As a part of the pilot project this year, parents and 2020 Year 7 students of De La Salle Catholic College Caringbah will be invited to submit an application form to be considered for placement in a Year 7 Newman Selective cohort in 2020.

If you choose to apply for a placement, your child will sit the Newman Selective Assessment which has been designed by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). This assessment will take place during Term 1 of 2019. Details regarding the test will be shared once your child’s Newman Selective application has been accepted.
