Mission & Vision

De La Salle Catholic College Caringbah is a 7-10 Catholic systemic school for boys within the Archdiocese of Sydney.

The College motto “To Walk Worthy of God” underpins all of our work.

Vision Statement

Our College seeks to create an environment where Gospel values are lived out, academic excellence is promoted and the Lasallian tradition is upheld. Inspired by the ideals of community, faith and service, our College aims to nurture and develop young Catholic men who are ethically and socially aware, and who continue to be lifelong learners.

Mission Statement

We, the community of De La Salle Catholic College Caringbah, believe:

  • Our Catholic faith is the basis which guides our educational endeavours and that students learn best in a community where the Gospel, in the spirit of St. John Baptist de La Salle, is central to the lives of students, staff and parents and acknowledges the link to parish.
  • There are opportunities for all students and staff in a contemporary learning environment to excel when their specific learning needs are identified and met, integrating Gospel values, technology and literacy strategies into all areas of the curriculum.
  • A supportive and challenging environment where students are rewarded, take responsibility for their own learning and have access to a variety of technologies, is essential for effective teaching, learning and planning.
  • Students learn best in a safe, stimulating, aesthetically pleasing environment in which resources are appropriate to students’ needs and distributed equitably to all curriculum areas.
  • The College strives to promote a positive image in the wider community by working closely with parents, local parishes, community organisations and local Catholic schools with a commitment to promoting peace and justice.
